Delve into this ancient pre-Hispanic cemetery, located in the heart of the Nazca Desert. Preserved by the dry climate, the tombs house mummies, ceramics, and funerary remains that reveal the ancestral beliefs and practices of the Nazca culture. A specialized guide will explain the historical context and the most important archaeological finds.
Traditional Ceramics Workshop:
Visit a local workshop where artisans reproduce ancestral Nasca pottery techniques. You'll see how pieces are shaped and painted following original designs. You'll also have the opportunity to participate and create your own piece, taking home a handmade souvenir.
Weaving Workshop:
Immerse yourself in Nasca textile art with a live demonstration of the spinning, dyeing, and weaving process using natural fibers. Learn about the symbols and colors used by the ancient Nasca and how these techniques survive through oral transmission and the work of local communities.
